Use of Teaching Rooms by Third Parties

The use of teaching rooms (Rectorate rooms) by third parties incurs a fee and is regulated in the Regulation in Room Use at ETH Zürich (in German) (PDF, 118 KB) and the DownloadGuidelines on Using Rectorate Rooms (in German) (PDF, 47 KB).

Such bookings must not be arranged through members of ETH Zurich.

During the semester, external event organisers can only book rooms after 6 pm, and only after the publication of the Course Catalogue.

Outside of teaching hours, external event organisers may book rooms only up until one year in advance.

External event organisers must be sponsored by an internal unit and obtain a permission for their event from the Section Event Management.

Firstly, external event organisers must contact the ETH Zurich Section Event Management so they can assess the feasibility of their event at ETH Zurich.
