This year's Athena Lecture will take place on Tuesday evening, March 4, 2025, at 6:15 PM and will be given by architect and researcher Christina Varvia from Forensic Architecture on the topic "Across the Border." We look forward to an exciting lecture in HIL E 4.
Metaxia is an architect, urban researcher, and educator holding a PhD from ETH Zurich in Landscape and Urban Studies. In her dissertation «ARCADIA Politics of Land and Nature - From peripheralisation to extended citizenship» she explores processes of extended urbanisation at the depopulating mountainous regions of Arcadia in Greece.
The ETH Wohnforum conducts research at the local and global level on fundamentals, strategies and practice-oriented solutions to the most pressing issues of sustainable management of built space. read more
