This issue of Canadian Military Journal (CMJ) discusses the leadership challenges in Afghanistan, the transformation of Canadian Force in relation to NATO-led operations and the efficacy of the various UN missions in Haiti. The issue then provides analysis of the US military's Unified Command Plan (UCP), discusses the reform process undertaken by the German armed forces and re-examines the principles of war.
