This report analyzes the problems of insufficient communication using leading German media coverage of Deutsche Börse AG between January 2003 and March 2007. It shows that whereas companies and their management often do not receive sufficient media resonance with their long-term strategic plans, the most important short-term oriented financial investors manage to achieve a strong media presence and can get their messages across more easily.
