This issue of the Canadian Military Journal (CMJ) opens with a look at the concept of transformational leadership in the Canadian military context. Next, it explores Canada's relationship with NATO in the post-Cold War and post-9/11 eras, discusses a pilot project for the Canadian Forces Artists Program (CFAP), and examines the need for an Officer Training Corps system in Canada. The issue also considers the role and utility of ocean intelligence in the maritime battlespace, and evaluates the leadership attributes of Squadron Leader N E Small of the Royal Canadian Air Force’s (RCAF) Eastern Air Command during 1942.
