This issue deals with matters of political economy in Latin America. The first article examines economic regulatory agencies and presidential delegation. The second and the third article deals with economic voting, the impact of the economy's condition on voting behavior and politicians' popularity. The last two articles looks at conservative parties and examines their support base in business and technocracy.
