This is Ayatollah Khomeini's book on political Islam which explains that an Islamic government based upon the doctrines contained in the Quran, the Hadith, and Sharia, must eventually overthrow any monarchical or secular government. He notes that only trained Islamic clerics, who are knowledgeable of Islamic law may be the top government leaders.
