This is the text of the 2008 Kosovo declaration of independence that was adopted in February 2008 by the individual members of the Assembly of Kosovo. The International Court of Justice ruled subsequently ruled, on July 22 2010, that Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence did not violate international law.
