This UNAIDS report talks about the state of the response to AIDS around the world and where it is headed. It includes an examination of a simplified HIV treatment platform called Treatment 2.0 that the authors believe could significantly decrease the number of AIDS-related deaths and new HIV infections. It also includes a wide range of data related to the AIDS epidemic such as the number of those infected, those at risk, opinion polls, and governmental policy.
