This paper looks at the Iran-US conflict through a psychosocial lens. The author describes how the situation would differ if we better understood the mind of the "enemy" and how the history of negotiations and of each country have led to misunderstanding and frustration. She also explores what new structures could be put in place to help ensure a sustainable negotiating process.
