This study analyzes the progress being made in developing state-of-the-art transport technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In general, the author argues that a large number of transport technologies show high growth rates and corresponding cost reductions. However, there are also transport technologies that need another 5 to 10 years before they may become commercial.
