The article describes negative media coverage on South Africa, in particular the Zuma rape case. It is argued that its leadership position on the continent and the upcoming 2010 soccer World Cup bring about a significant increase in South African coverage. Hence it is advised that the government should ensure that these news are not entirely negative.
