This policy brief focuses on the multi dimensional efforts to promote a long-standing peace and reconciliation in Côte d’Ivoire. It critically analizes the causes of the conflict and the intervening actors that may augur well for the peace process, focusing on the role of African Union and UN. Furthermore, it envisages possible scenarios leading up to the planned elections and also suggest a windows of options, stressing the importance of putting aside differences to find an expedient end to the conflict.
