This paper analyzes market access opportunities for environmental goods from developing countries in the African, Caribbean and Pacific regions. It focuses on preference erosion expected to arise from multilateral liberalization of environmental goods and the degree of utilization of preferences by the countries in the regions. The authors use a partial equilibrium model to estimate the possible trade effects of different tariff liberalization scenarios.
