This paper examines climate change as a pressing threat to global security in the 21st century. The author discusses indirect as well as direct effects and the authors look at the case of Bangladesh to illustrate the topic of climate conflict. The author concludes by making some recommendations on how best to mitigate conflicts relating to climate change.
