Publication

This book combines the papers prepared by the researchers and associates of the Centre for Civil-Military Relations (CCMR) in Belgrade as part of an interdisciplinary research project on human rights protection in the army and police of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The research analyzes the degree of respect for human rights within the Yugoslav army and police, as well as the observance of human rights for citizens under the jurisdiction of the army or police. The book additionally features comparative insight into the situation of human rights enforcement in the armies of other transition countries.
