This paper investigates the nature and implications of the transboundary dispute resolution, focusing particularly on water disputes. The aim is to provide a comprehensive review of how transboundary water disputes should be settled and how they have been settled. A large section of the essay deals with the various instruments that are available for the settlement of disputes.
