The article examines the importance of trust-building in US-China nuclear security relations. It argues that although the US and China have significant common interests in the field of nuclear security, their lack of trust has prevented them from cooperating. Trust-building between the two nuclear powers is therefore imperative and should be actively pursued by both sides.
