2012

This double issue addresses current themes on the African continent in terms of regional conflict and transition. It contains research articles, covering the breakdown of order in Mali, the KONY 2012 campaign in and around Uganda, and Nigeria’s Boko Haram. Furthermore, the massacre at the Marikana mine in South Africa is discussed as well as challenges that environmental threats are posing for grass-roots organizations in Nigeria, followed by contributions on cross-border trade and the "militarized peace" between South Sudan and Uganda and the state of Polish African Studies. A conference report and three book reviews complement the articles in this volume.
