This paper examines China-US trust building measures. It first reviews the main manifestations of mistrusts between China and the US on Nuclear Strategy and points out the potential unfavorable outcomes. It then provides a realist perspective on mistrust between states, stressing the psychological effects of uncertainty. The paper further explores the key factors that contribute to mistrust between China and the US, with a focus on specifying the conflicting tendencies manifested both by declaratory policy and actual effects in nuclear terms between China and the US. Finally, the paper provides some policy suggestions for building US-China Mutual Trust on Nuclear Strategy.
