This book addresses the complex transnational threats posed by illicit networks, such as those related to human trafficking, the arms trade, and narcotics. It describes the scope of the security threats confronting the United States and the international community posed by transnational criminal organizations and what is being done to combat them. This includes examinations of strategic and operational issues as well as increased regional partnerships and dialogues.
