This paper examines the way climate change might affect human security and particularly focuses on the situation in Bangladesh. The author argues that climate change will make it increasingly difficult for states to deal with conflict resolution, humanitarian crises and problems of instability. Furthermore, developing countries will be especially affected. He suggests that environmental issues should be placed at the center of security considerations and gives a number of recommendations for what action needs to be taken at the national and international level.
