Publication

This publication consists of a number of articles which examine various aspects of stability in China. The topics the chapters cover include stability preservation and public security; rights protection; the effect of centralized spending on public security; the use of formalized language and its relation to stability; and the idea of freedom in China. It also includes two research articles on peasant protests in Hunan and the influence citizens have on the country's policy.
