This brief summarizes the work done by the Disarmament and International Security Committee (also called the First Committee) in the field of international information security. It looks at the challenges facing the Group of Governmental Experts (GGE) concerning cyber security issues on a global level, such as criminal, terrorist and military uses of ICT.
