This issue focuses on the themes of regional conflict, transition, and reconstruction on the African continent. It contains articles on South Africa's on-going transition, views on war and peace of the Acholi in northern Uganda, and Nigeria's campaigns to secure the repatriation of looted public funds being held in foreign banks. It also discusses how irresponsible behavior by oil multinational corporations (MNCs) has fueled tensions in the Niger Delta and examines environmental conservation in Zimbabwe. A conference report and five book reviews complete the volume.
