This paper examines effectiveness of Aid for Trade (AfT). It first explains the need for AfT evaluation, then presents some available evidence and describes briefly the methodology used in ICTSD country studies. Subsequently, it provides insights from the country studies and concludes with a summary of best practice, offering thoughts on the way forward.
