Is conflict ever better than cooperation? That was the question up for discussion at the EPIK Young Leaders Conference and Essay Competition hosted on 8 August 2013 by the East Asia Institute in Seoul, Korea. This student paper specifically applies the question to the Arab uprisings and wonders how the lives of the populations involved have improved, if at all.
