This paper discusses Australia's view on what it means to be a middle power and hopes for an informal network of middle power countries including Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey and Australia. The author then uses Australia's experience as a middle power to provide recommendations to South Korea on how to practice effective middle power diplomacy.
