This brief analyzes the current conflict in the Central African Republic (CAR) and its policy implications, both domestically and internationally. After looking at the security, humanitarian, political, economic and regional dimensions of the conflict, the brief concludes by looking at how international actors might go about building sustained peace and security within the country.
