This study examines the accountability of police officers and the anti-corruption mechanisms in place to fight police corruption in Montenegro. After presenting a variety of concrete mechanisms put in place by the Montenegrin authorities to counter police corruption, the study also looks at the legal framework for the prosecution of corruption as well as the accountability of the Heads of the Police.
