This note explores the potential for cooperation between the trade and climate regimes. More specifically, it examines proposals for the incorporation of climate change mitigation in regional trade agreements; WTO measures aimed at promoting renewable energy; global emissions trading schemes; and the need for more cohesive energy trade governance.
