This study examines the presence of women in the parliamentary arena in OSCE member states. More specifically, it looks at the presence and operation of women’s parliamentary bodies that promote gender equality and women’s representation in these states. It also identifies the key obstacles these bodies face and concludes with a series of recommendations on how to overcome them to improve women's representation within national parliaments.
