This report examines compliance with the Law on the Use of Language in Kosovo, which protects the language rights of the country's diverse communities. Analyzing practices at the local level, it reveals that more than seven years after its promulgation, the law remains only partially implemented due to insufficient human and financial resources, often accompanied by lack of sufficient understanding of obligations and/or lack of political will. The report concludes with a series of recommendations for relevant institutions and stakeholders to help them remedy these shortcomings.
