This brief examines some of the key social, economic, political and security challenges facing Nigeria and whether a national dialogue between the country's communities and citizens country could help address these. The author also examines concerns held by citizens and certain stakeholders in the country regarding such a dialogue and provides recommendations on how Nigeria can effectively design and manage its dialogue process.
