This memo is a summary of a panel discussion on the UK’s foreign and security policy toward the Asia-Pacific region and South Korea in particular. Among other issues, it examines 1) whether Europe’s security arrangements can be exported to Asia; 2) the UK's position on a potential reunification on the Korean peninsula; and 3) the role of South Korea in solving the tensions and territorial disputes between China and Japan.
