This fact file provides an overview of the challenges involved in the enrichment of uranium in centrifuges, the history of Iran’s centrifuge program, and the state of Iran’s enrichment facilities. It also looks at Iran’s enrichment activities and the level of its stockpiles of enriched uranium in the time after the Joint Plan of Action came into force in January 2014.
