This fact sheet contains on overview of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe's (OSCE) ongoing response to the 2014 conflict between pro-Russian separatists and the Ukrainian government in eastern Ukraine. This includes 1) the initiatives put forth by Switzerland as part of its chairmanship of the OSCE; 2) the ongoing OSCE Monitoring Mission; 3) the OSCE's observation of two Russian checkpoints at the Russia-Ukraine border; 4) the OSCE observation of the presidential and parliamentary elections in Ukraine; and 5) the organization's ongoing military verification activities in eastern Ukraine.
