This paper uses microeconomic data from household surveys to analyze the growth performance of the Cameroonian economy from 1960 to 2014. The results show that Cameroon's economy witnessed an irregular growth trend during the study period, varying from sub-period to sub-period under the impetus of changes in economic policy orientations as well as domestic and external shocks.
