In this lecture transcript, the Harvard Kennedy School's Professor Joseph Nye discusses the position of the United States in 2014 world politics, comparing it to that of China. The author argues that the US will still be the central country in terms of the world balance of power and that while China has a larger economy it will not equal the US in economic, military, or soft power. This paper also contains a Q&A with the author, where he defends and elaborates his main arguments.
