This brief considers the implications for climate change review and monitoring processes as the international community edges closer to the Paris climate change conference in November/December 2015. Particularly, the author focuses on how states’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) will be reviewed and the mechanism for strengthening such contributions in the future.
