This paper explores the rhetoric of aggression between Iran, the US and Israel. It discusses the UN Security Council resolutions passed in light of Iran’s nuclear program and examines Iran’s obligations as a signatory to the Treaty on the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty (NPT). The author provides a number of possible solutions to the conflict and concludes that the dispute over Iran’s nuclear program must be resolved through dialogue and negotiation, not through the use of force or even threats to use force.
