This paper discusses the growing importance of military intervention in crisis and conflict situations and the increased number of points of contact between development actors and military actors. It analyzes sensitive areas that pose an inherent risk of instrumentalizing development policy and blurring the lines of competence. The authors present suggestions for what development policy's future concerns should be.
