This paper discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the Sachs Report as well as strategies in international development policy to achieve the millennium development goals, that go beyond the Sachs Report. The authors state that good governance is equally a challenge for developing countries and development agencies and the key to a sustainable reduction of poverty worldwide.
