This paper identifies a range of possible verification, transparency and confidence-building mechanisms through which trust in the Iranian nuclear program could be established. The paper explores the scope of the UN Security Council's resolutions on the Iranian nuclear program, discusses how to design an effective verification mechanism for Iran and addresses technical legal and financial considerations. The paper argues that the solution to Iranian nuclear challenge has to be broad, transparent, legally binding and based on dialogue and respect.
