This paper suggests the setting up of a semi-permanent conference table in order to facilitate negotiations for a sustainable peace in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. According to the author, it would provide early warning systems for communication between the conflicted parties, engage in shuttle diplomacy, take evidence from all the parties involved in the conflict and make a serious commitment to keep the peace process on track whatever the level of violence or provocation in the region.
