This article illustrates opportunities and challenges of South-South cooperation. The author explores tendencies in South-South cooperation in terms of trade, investment and finance. Moreover, the role of the Asian drivers in African countries is assessed. To conclude, the paper suggests prospects for South-South cooperation and offers recommendations for international cooperation.
