This report examines the coverage of different energy technologies in the German opinion-leading press and TV news. It argues that nuclear energy plays an increasingly central role in media coverage due to the dependency on fossil fuels from crisis areas as well as climate change. The article concludes that the dangers of nuclear energy are often diminished and the benefits stressed.
