The publication discusses the vulnerability of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) following the withdrawal of four countries: India, Israel, Pakistan and North Korea. It focuses on the review of the NPT in 2005 and ways of strengthening the implementation of the Treaty institutionally. The brief outlines recommendations to state parties and civil society for safeguarding agreements and additional protocols.
