Publication

Apr 2005

The publication examines findings from a two-day roundtable hosted by the Middle East Policy Initiative Forum and the Oxford Research Group that focuses on obstacles to securing peace in Palestine and Israel. It offers a multidimensional analysis of trends and shocks in the post Oslo peace process era and centers around three aspects: Israeli disengagement plans, political dilemmas of the Palestinian transition and international challenges. The report argues that creative ideas are the key toward viable peace, inclusive of fostering multi-party dialogues and finding alternative Israeli doctrines.
