This policy brief highlights reasons why the February 2008 unrests in Cameroon must be of interest to the international community out of necessity. It also examines the accelerators on which the riots were triggered and analyzes the implications of the crisis. After envisaging possible scenarios, the authors provide options for response to decision-makers.
